About the Tour

Expanding horizons for Australian football.

In 2024, GGG travelled to Thailand with a squad of dedicated players and staff to take on some of Asia's most competitive football environments. Based in Bangkok, the squad tested themselves against elite Thai clubs and national-level opposition.

The tour gave players the chance to compete against some of the country's strongest sides while experiencing a new level of professionalism and culture. It strengthened international connections and opened pathways for Australian players seeking genuine global exposure.

Elite Competition

Competing against Buriram United and the Thai National Team challenged our players technically, mentally, and physically. These were not friendlies — the opposition was elite, and the squad rose to it.

Professional Training

Training sessions at high-performance facilities guided by experienced Thai coaches gave players an insight into the standards being set across Southeast Asia — and a clear benchmark to measure themselves against.

Culture & Connection

Exploring Bangkok, learning local customs, and sharing experiences with Thai players and families. The tour built international connections that extended well beyond the final whistle and left every player with a broader perspective on the game.
