About the Program

What is the Elite Neon Cup?

The Elite Neon Cup is an international youth football tournament held in Athens, Greece. It's a rare opportunity for Australian players to compete on the world stage — developing their game in an elite environment against international sides.

Ginga Global Group selects and manages the Australian squad, handling trials, travel logistics and on-the-ground support throughout the tournament. We keep the process direct — players and families deal with us, not intermediaries.

The Process

How we build the squad.

From open trials through to confirmed selection, here's what the pathway looks like for players and families.

Trials

Open trial sessions are currently running in Sydney and Melbourne. Coaches evaluate technical ability, game understanding and coachability across a range of drills and small-sided games — every eligible player gets a fair assessment.

Shortlisting

After trials close, our coaching staff review all candidates and narrow the squad to the strongest group for Athens. Shortlisted players and their families are contacted directly — there's no public announcement list.

Confirmation

Selected players confirm their spot and our team takes it from there — travel, accommodation, match schedule and on-the-ground support throughout the tournament, all handled by GGG.
